Angela Allegrucci

Angela Allegrucci obtained her bachelor’s degree in Asian Languages, Markets and Cultures (focus on MENA region, French and Arabic languages) at the University of Bologna. After defending her final thesis on human rights and democracy in the Constitutions of Tunisia and Egypt, she decided to enrol in the master's degree programme of Comparative International Relations at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with a curriculum on Euro-Mediterranean relations. Angela graduated in November 2021 with a final thesis on the role of international actors in Libya’s peacebuilding processes, developed in the aftermath of her curricular internship as strategic analyst in the Italy-based think tank Analytica for intelligence and security studies, thanks to which she could approach the analysis and research work regarding the security and defence sector in the Mediterranean Basin and MENA region.
