Eleonora Tirolese

Eleonora Tirolese, born in 2000, holds a degree in International Relations and European Institutions and later specialized in International Development Cooperation. With Italian and Hungarian roots, she has developed a strong connection with Eastern Europe. Passionate about geopolitics and international affairs, Eleonora explores the policies and strategies of post- Soviet countries in crisis management. Her professional goal is to help strengthen integration policies in these regions, advocate for minority rights, and foster dialogue with the European Union.

During her internship at Menedék, a Budapest-based NGO, she worked closely with Ukrainian refugees, an experience that deepened her commitment to human rights. Her field research led to her master’s thesis, where she analyzed migration dynamics within Hungary’s political landscape, highlighting the shortcomings of government policies and drawing comparisons with neighboring countries.

Eager to further her understanding of the region and improve her work in the field, she is currently refining her Hungarian language skills. She is an Author for the Framing the World section of Mondo Internazionale Post, focusing on Eastern Europe and Russia.
