Francisco Durán

Francisco Durán Herrera was born in Chile. He is a cum laude graduate lawyer from the University of Talca in Chile. In 2019, he completed two internships in Bremen, Germany, at the Meissner Bolte and Eisenführ Speiser law firms, where he gained knowledge of the European regulatory framework for trademark law. He is a co-founder of the Eureka law firm in Talca, Chile, which specializes in intellectual and industrial property.

Currently, he is in the final year of his Master's degree in International Relations at the University of Florence. In this context, he has developed an interest in public international law, heritage defense, and international criminal law. He is also interested in macroeconomics, monetary policy, and the role of central banks.

Francisco joined the organization in 2022 as a Junior Researcher in the G.E.O. Economics area and now holds the position of Head Researcher in the Culture and Society area.
