Salvatore Gabriele Colletti was born in 1995 in Sciacca (AG). In July 2018, he obtained a degree in Political Science and International Relations, specialising in International Relations, at the University of Palermo with a final thesis which analysed the differences between Trafficking in human beings and Smuggling of immigrants, with specific reference to the case of the Mediterranean.
His passion for politics encouraged him to continue his studies in the Master's degree course in Politics, Institutions and Market, specialising in Politics and Institutions, at the University of Florence. He finished this course in February 2021, obtaining a double degree following his study experience at MGIMO University in Moscow in the Government Relations and International Lobbying course. This experience in Moscow pushed him to finish his master's studies with a research thesis aimed at collecting and analysing all the changes and reforms of Russian electoral legislation for legislative and presidential elections. During his year abroad, he did an internship in the Research and Analysis department of the Minchencko Consulting Communication Group, a leading Russian political consulting company. His internship was characterised by research work on some of the Italian institutions and the preparation of some reports designed to offer analytical input to Russian researchers. This international experience has allowed him to deal with a reality that is different from the European one and to relate to a dynamic and multicultural environment.
His multi-disciplinary approach has extended his interests from Italian and international politics, to the world of national and supranational institutions, to the field of interests representation, lobbying and advocacy. He joined Mondo Internazionale in June 2021 as Policy Analyst for the HUB division's MIPP project.
