Gaia Esposito

Gaia Esposito is a graduate student in International Relations at Ca' Foscari University in Venice. She earned a bachelor's degree in Asian languages, cultures and societies specializing in Korean language and doing an exchange period in Seoul. For her master's thesis research, she was interested in the issue of gender-based violence against migrant and asylum-seeking women along the Mediterranean route. Nevertheless, her focus of interest revolves around East Asia, especially the geopolitical issues affecting the Koreas and Japan. Her career goal is to write about Asia professionally.
