Giacomo Andolfatto

Giacomo Andolfatto was born in Bassano del Grappa, on January 4, 1997. Since 2019 he is a graduate student of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies at the University of Trento, with a thesis on immigration and integration policies, comparing Sweden and Denmark as case studies. During his BA, Giacomo managed to develop his profile through different experiences abroad, such as a semester at the University of Malmö, a study-trip in Japan, and finally gaining the professional title of journalist-publicist in the Italian Association of Journalists.

After his studies in Trento, Giacomo decides to apply to the Master’s Degree in Comparative International Relations at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, winning a scholarship through the latter’s Honours College (the Collegio Internazionale). He concluded this academic path, with a thesis on the potential role for NATO in the Sahel region. During his period in Venice, Giacomo managed to take part in different projects, especially by taking part to the no-profit association Venice Diplomatic Society, first as a member, then as Councillor and Vice-Editor in Chief.

Journalist, and passionate for International Relations, with a focus on International Security. Recently, he joined as ISPI G20 Global Ambassador to the Global Policy Forum, organized by ISPI and Bocconi University.
