Giada Acquadro

Student graduating in political and social sciences at the University of Turin, she has always been keen on being informed about current issues especially related to social and political changes in Italy and the world. During her studies she has had the opportunity to approach different subjects, such as law, history, economics and sociology; but the two courses that have affected her most were: economic and social inequalities sociology, and public policy analysis.

The student is really interested in how public policies are created and their implications at social and economic level, in order to make understand to the readers that the process of policy is a long and articulated process in different phases, where multiple actors such as interest group representatives, lobbyists, politicians, bureaucrats etc. collaborate and when it comes to the phase called “implementation” of public policy, policies have different implications depending on the social group being analyzed.

In Mondo Internazionale, she holds the position of Junior Researcher in the Culture&Society team
