Jovan Knezevic

Jovan Knezevic was born in 2000 in Belgrade, Serbia.

He completed his BA Degree in “International Relations and Global Affairs” at Catholic University in Milan (final grade 110/110 cum laude). During his undergraduate career, he wrote a thesis on Russia’s geopolitical interests in Serbia and the Western Balkans.
At the moment, he is attending a master’s degree in “International Security Studies” offered jointly by Sant’ Anna School of Advanced Studies and the University of Trento.
He is passionate about international politics, geopolitics, national and international security.
He is also particularly interested in the political and geopolitical dynamics as well as security-related issues in Western Balkans and Post-Soviet Space. He is pursuing a career in academia and is already a member of several research centers in the field of international relations and geopolitics. He speaks fluently Italian, English, Serbian, Bosnian and Spanish.

Starting from April 2023, he is Senior Researcher in the G.E.O Security and Defense section.
