Ludovica Gigliotti, born in Crotone in 1999, is completing her master’s degree in Languages, Cultures, and Communication at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her academic path has primarily focused on editorial and tourism translation, as well as the understanding of how powerful words are within specific cultural contexts. In the future, she aspires to work in the translation industry, particularly in the fashion and publishing sectors. She finds the
process of cultural adaptation in translation fascinating and values the importance of rendering each word as precisely and evocatively as possible. Beyond her studies and work, she loves reading and creating crochet garments and accessories. She also has a keen interest in art and cinema, two passions that enrich her approach to translation and writing. She is always seeking new opportunities to grow
