Matteo Bulzomì

Matteo Bulzomì is a PhD student in History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research project deals with the cultural and diplomatic policies of Italy in the interwar Middle East through the perspective of the Italian diplomatic missions in the region. 

Before starting his PhD, Matteo earned a BA and a MA in History at the University of Turin and a MA in Israel Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has also attended several extra-curricular courses at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a the Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale. Furthermore, he was recently a panellist at the annual conference of the Middle East Islamic Studies Association of Israel. 

Matteo has written about the history and politics of the Middle East and the post-Soviet space for Mondo Internazionale and for other blogs such as Scacchiere Storico, Il Cosmopolitico, The London School of Economics International History Blog, Moked - Pagine Ebraiche, and Termometro Politico.
