Silvia Denise Toro

Silvia Toro, born in 1998, has lived in the province of Monza for as long as she can remember, and has always been passionate about writing and stories.

In 2018, she began her university career as an interpreting and translation student, where she fell in love with Spanish, as well as consolidating her knowledge of English, and the faithful transposition of concepts and cultural elements from one language to another. She developed an intense passion for the humanities, particularly anthropology and psychology, which laid the foundation for her interest in social and human issues.

Later, her fascination with culture in the anthropological sense and her desire to create communication and connection between countries led her to specialize in multimedia localization, beginning her career as a translator and localizer.

This brought her closer to the topics of marketing, copywriting and functional writing. In the process, she decided she wanted to move into editorial translation, specializing in journalistic translation. Loving news and writing, she has devoted herself to proofreading at Mondo Internazionale Post since 2025.
