Chiara Michieli
During her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, International Studies and Economics at
the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Chiara was able to develop her interdisciplinary
attitude, tackling contemporary issues from different perspectives and analyzing their
various layers of complexity.
Thanks to the Minor "Social Innovation Management for Smart Communities" and
other extracurricular activities, she has acquired key skills for conducting and
analyzing research in the social and economic domains. Additionally, she had the
chance to approach the world of development policies and the study of
socioeconomic inequalities and their drivers, soon becoming passionate about the
elaboration of policies aimed at smoothing global and regional inequalities.
Following her graduation - with a final dissertation on European demographic
dynamics, politics and policies - Chiara decided to continue her academic career in
the field of International Security Studies at the Sant’ Anna School of Advanced
Studies and the University of Trento.
Within Mondo Internazionale HUB Chiara is a Junior Policy Analyst.
