Melissa Marrano

Melissa Marrano graduated in law at the University of Milan, writing a final thesis on the invalidity of the contract. Her research was focused on the remedies provided by Italian consumer, banking, and finance law for the protection of the weak party to the contract.

She is currently practicing law at an Italian law firm, specialized in civil and corporate law, and she assists the lawyers in the drafting of procedural acts and preparing the argumentations for the law process at the courts.

During her university studies, she studied in Portugal first and then in China, developing her knowledge in the international law field.

Moreover, as a student, she did an internship in a boutique law firm with an international profile and it was very inspiring for her career projects.

She enjoys translating TED videos and Rakuten Viki's tv series, to improve her language skills and to give access to those contents to Italians who cannot speak English or Portuguese.

She shares Mondo Internazionale's values and goals and she is part of this organization as Referent of the Legal Consulting Team
