COOPERAZIONE ITALIA-GIAPPONE: ESERCITAZIONE CONGIUNTA TRA AERONAUTICHE MILITARI - ITALY-JAPAN COOPERATION: JOINT AIR FORCES EXERCISE

Attraverso una complessa operazione logistica, l’Aeronautica Militare rischiererà in Giappone molteplici assetti per l’attività addestrativa, tra cui quattro velivoli F-35

Si svolgerà dal 4 all’8 agosto, presso la base aerea giapponese di Komatsu, l’esercitazione congiunta che vedrà velivoli dell’Aeronautica Militare e della Japan Air Self-Defense Force addestrarsi insieme su diverse attività in scenario operativo.

Per l’Aeronautica Militare, il cui rischieramento dei mezzi inizierà già negli ultimi giorni di luglio con una complessa e minuziosa operazione logistica, questa esercitazione sarà anche un importante test della rete di comando e controllo e della propria capacità di proiettare, sostenere e far operare assetti in un teatro lontano (definita expeditionary). L’Italia porterà infatti in Giappone velivoli dalle caratteristiche di impiego molto diverse, inclusi i caccia di 5^a generazione F-35, i tanker KC-767A, il nuovissimo CAEW (Conformal Airborne Early Warning) G-550 e i velivoli da trasporto tattico C-130J.

Anche questa attività addestrativa, volta ad accrescere ulteriormente le competenze delle reciproche Forza Aeree in termini interoperabilità e capacità operativa, rientra nell’ambito dei più ampi rapporti di collaborazione tra Italia e Giappone, che includono anche l’accordo tra Aeronautica Militare e Japan Air Self-Defense Force per la formazione di student pilot presso l’International Flight Training School (IFTS), basata a Decimomannu.

ITALY-JAPAN COOPERATION: JOINT AIR FORCES EXERCISE

With a complex logistical operation, the Italian Air Force will redeploy in Japan different kind of military aircraft, including four F-35, for a bilateral training mission

A joint exercise will take place from 4^th to 8^th August at the Japanese Komatsu air base, which will see the Italian Air Force and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force aircraft train together to improve tactical skills and promote mutual understanding.

For the Italian Air Force, whose redeployment will begin during the end of July through a complex and meticulous logistical operation, this will also be an important test of the command and control network and of the expeditionary capability, related to the ability to project, support and operate assets in a distant theatre. In fact, Italy will send to Japan aircraft with very different operational characteristics, including 5^th generation fighters F-35, KC-767A tankers, the brand new CAEW (Conformal Airborne Early Warning) G-550 and C-130J tactical transport aircraft.

This training activity, aimed at further increasing the competences of the reciprocal Air Forces in terms of defence cooperation, is part of a broader partnership between Italy and Japan, which also includes the agreement between the Italian Air Force and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force for the training of Student Pilots at the International Flight Training School (IFTS), based in Decimomannu (Italy).

日伊防衛協力：イタリア空軍と航空自衛隊による共同訓練

日伊共同訓練の実施にあたり、イタリア空軍は複雑なロジ手続きを通じ、

４機のF-35を含む様々な種類の軍用機を日本に配備する予定です。

来る８月４日から８日にかけて航空自衛隊小松基地を拠点に、戦術スキルの向上および相互理解を促進する取り組みとして、イタリア空軍と航空自衛隊の共同訓練が行われます。

複雑かつ綿密なロジ手続きを通して７月末より同配備を開始するイタリア空軍にとって、遠隔地における軍用機に対する計画、支援、運用能力に関わる指揮統制のシステムネットワークや遠征能力を測る重要なテストとなることでしょう。この機会に、イタリアより第5世代ジェット戦闘機F-35をはじめ、給油機KC-767A、最新のG550 CAEW（コンフォーマル空中早期警報）および軍用輸送機C-130Jなど異なる運用特性を持つ軍用機が日本に送られる予定です。

この度の共同訓練は、防衛協力の観点からイタリア空軍と航空自衛隊それぞれの能力のさらなる向上を目的とする、日伊間における幅広いパートナーシップの一環であります。そこにはイタリア空軍と航空自衛隊との間で合意されたイタリアのデチモマンヌ基地に所在する国際飛行訓練学校（IFTS）における学生パイロットの教育訓練に関する取り決めも含まれています。
