On April 10, Chiara Merlin, member of the Steering Committee of Mondo Internazionale APS, attended the presentation of Simona Bocchi’s autobiographical book at the Embassy of India in Rome.
The book retraces the seven years the artist spent in India, a transformative experience that enriched both her creative path and spiritual growth. In a context where opposites coexist and ultimately merge, Bocchi reflects on identity and presence, sharing profound insights shaped by her journey.
At the heart of the narrative stands the bronze sculpture Synchrony of Opposites: two figures supporting each other in a delicate balance, suspended between a fall and an embrace—an invitation to discover that same synchrony within ourselves.
The event aligns with the activities that Mondo Internazionale APS carries out through its collaboration with The Geostrata, an Indian organization committed to promoting dialogue, cultural understanding, and youth engagement in global affairs.
Participation in this initiative reflects the mission of the Association: fostering cultural and public diplomacy as essential tools for building bridges of understanding between countries and communities.
