On July 8, 2026, Mondo Internazionale Post took part in the NATO Alliance Wall 2026, one of the most significant exercises of the year, held at the Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria.

Our editorial team closely followed the activities of the Multinational Battle Group Bulgaria, led by the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment under the command of Colonel Matteo Epifani, which involved more than 700 troops from 11 allied nations.

Over two weeks, the exercise represented a concrete demonstration of interoperability and operational capability: from the use of drones and Counter-UAS systems to the deployment of CAESAR and PzH 2000 howitzers, Ariete tanks, and VBM Freccia vehicles, all coordinated in real time among various forces.

Alliance Wall 2026 confirmed how deterrence on NATO’s eastern flank is increasingly based on the ability to integrate systems, share information, and operate as a single force. In this context, the presence of the Mondo Internazionale Post team highlights the commitment to providing first-hand coverage of key international security scenarios, offering in-depth content to its community.
