Azzurra Zanirato

Azzurra Zanirato holds a degree in Political Science and Human Rights from the University of Padua and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Security Studies, with the goal of working in European institutions in the future.

She spent a semester abroad in France through the Erasmus+ program, expanding her international academic experience. She was awarded the University Talent Prize by the Italy–USA Foundation, ranking among the 1,000 top recent graduates in international relations in Italy.

Passionate about human rights, Azzurra is particularly interested in the protection of minorities, gender equality, civilian protection in armed conflicts, and human security policies. Her academic and personal path reflects a strong focus on the intersection of security, development, and human dignity, with the ambition to contribute to inclusive and sustainable policies rooted in democratic values and the respect for fundamental rights.

To strengthen her practical skills, she joined the organization Mondo Internazionale, where she was appointed Treasury Representative, contributing to financial and accounting management.
