Carlotta Lopresti

Curious, dynamic, and always open to new challenges, Carlotta Lopresti cultivated an interest in diverse cultures from a young age, spending a semester studying in Chile at the age of sixteen. She earned her bachelor's degree in International Development and Cooperation Sciences from the University of Turin in September 2023, with a thesis on the self-determination of the Palestinian people. She then continued her studies in France at the University of Strasbourg, where she earned her master's degree in International Law in September 2025.

During the summer of 2025, she completed an internship with the NGO European Lawyers in Lesvos, on the Greek island of Lesbos, providing legal assistance to asylum seekers. This experience led to her master's thesis, which focuses on the management of Syrian refugees between Greece and Turkey. Her primary research interests include human rights and international geopolitical dynamics.

Fluent in four languages—English, French, Spanish, and Italian—she has a strong focus on intercultural communication and international relations. She currently works as a Legal Assistant at the International Commission on Civil Status, based in Strasbourg.

At Mondo Internazionale, she serves as Deputy Director of External Affairs and International Activities.
