Carmela Melluso

Carmela has been interested in the international sphere since childhood. She was able to deepen this interest and focus on the Asian area during her university years, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations (specializing in Asia and Africa) from the University of Naples "L'Orientale," followed by a Master’s degree in Relations and Institutions of Asia and Africa from the same institution. 

Her academic achievements and thesis work earned her awards that enabled her to attend two Master’s programs: "International Marketing, Events, and Media" at Centro Studi Comunicare Impresa and "International Relations, Leadership, and Made in Italy" at the Italy-USA Foundation. 

She has currently begun a PhD program at Sogang University in Seoul. Over the years, she has worked and volunteered with organizations involved in cultural diplomacy, developing a passion for the field. This interest led her to join Mondo Internazionale, where she serves as the External Affairs and International Activities Officer.
