Cecilia De Marco
Cecilia De Marco graduated in 2024 with a degree in Political, Economic and Governmental Sciences from the University of Urbino. She is currently enrolled in International Relations at La Sapienza University of Rome, with a particular interest in global dynamics, human rights, and international politics.
She participated in an Erasmus program in Lisbon, which allowed her to engage with an international academic environment and take courses related to journalism and communication. During her university studies, she completed an internship in Sardinia as a receptionist, where she was able to apply her language skills in English, French, and German.
Passionate about writing since childhood, she began developing her skills through school newsletters and over the years has cultivated a style attentive to social, political, and cultural issues. In her bachelor’s thesis, she explored economic globalization, analyzing cooperation between Italy and Portugal from a comparative perspective.
She loves traveling and discovering new cultures, which she considers not only personal experiences but also essential tools for understanding the contemporary world.
Since January 2026, Cecilia has been working as a Writer for the Society Section of Mondo Internazionale.
