Chiara Giovannoni
Chiara Giovannoni has a strong academic background in the fields of international cooperation and human rights. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Migration, and Intercultural Inclusion Pathways at the University of Bologna. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Bologna in 2022 and a with Master’s Degree in Cultural Strategies for International Cooperation and Development at Roma Tre University in 2025. In 2025, she was awarded for the University Talent Award from the Italia–USA Foundation.
She is deeply committed to human rights, with a particular focus on migrants and minors. Since 2022, she is volunteering with Educate for Good ETS, where she contributes to the drafting of international cooperation projects primarily targeting these groups. Since September 2025, she has been engaged in an internship with Movimento Shalom Onlus, working on international cooperation project design. In 2024, she also completed an internship within the Human Development Office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in Rome.
She has been part of Mondo Internazionale since 2022, first as an author in the Human Rights Team, and now as Deputy Section Editor of the same Team.
