Claudio Merryweather

Claudio Merryweather is a member of the Politics Department at Mondo Internazionale, where he contributes as a Junior Researcher focusing on contemporary political processes and international geopolitical dynamics. He is currently studying Sociology, with a final year academic focus on political systems, power transformations, and institutional dynamics in contemporary societies.

His main research interests lie in International Relations, with particular attention to transatlantic relations between the United States and Europe, the evolution of Western geopolitical balances, and the transformation of liberal democracies.

Within the Politics Department, he/she contributes analytical articles and research aimed at interpreting global political developments through a sociological lens, integrating political, social, and cultural dimensions. His objective is to provide clear and rigorous insights into major international events, especially those concerning US–EU relations.
