Dafne Flamma
Graduated in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Bologna, Dafne Flamma has built a solid academic background with a focus on Middle Eastern dynamics and global security. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International and Diplomatic Studies at the University of Bologna, specializing in Transnational Challenges and Global Governance. Her undergraduate thesis on the conflict in Yemen marked the beginning of a critical reflection on contemporary crises, further deepened through two specialized master’s programs: at ISPI (Gulf Countries) and the University of Beirut (migration and refugees). Alongside her academic training, she has developed a strong commitment to civil and social engagement, volunteering in both local and international contexts. She represented Italy in European projects in Brussels promoting human rights and has collaborated with Amnesty International and shelters for women and minors in difficulty. She also worked as a Project Coordinator for intercultural exchange programs, gaining skills in project management and communication. She is currently a Junior Analyst for the MENA region at the Institute for the Analysis of International Relations and collaborates with SIOI, participating in debates, institutional meetings, and diplomatic training sessions. Dafne Flamma joined Mondo Internazional G.E.O. as a Junior Researcher in the Defense and Security section. She believes that promoting free information is essential to fostering a more informed and conscious political participation at the national, European, and international levels.
