Elena Ciullo

Elena Ciullo is 26 years old and comes from a small village in the province of Lecce, in southern Puglia, but in the past years she lived in Trieste, where she moved to attend university. In March 2025 she obtained her master’s degree in specialised translation and conference interpreting at the School of Interpreters in Trieste, with English, German and French as study languages. Also in Trieste, she attended the three-year degree course in interlinguistic communication applied to the legal professions. 

In the past year she had the opportunity to work as an interpreter for various conferences and as a German-Italian sworn translator for a translation agency. Foreign languages have always been her greatest passion: exploring the world and getting to know other cultures has always fascinated her but by studying languages she realized how much this allows you to know yourself better, becoming more aware of one’s roots and abilities. 

She has decided to join Mondo Internazionale as translator and proof-reader in order to put into practice the skills she has acquired so far and put her knowledge at the service of communication in the field of journalism.
