Erika Puddu
Erika Puddu was born in Marino, in the province of Rome, on July 31, 1999. She holds dual citizenship—Italian and American—and speaks five languages. She earned her bachelor's degree from Roma Tre University in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, with a focus on Chinese language and literature.
In 2019, she served as a delegate to the United Nations during the New York UN Summer Edition training program, an experience that sparked her interest in international current affairs. She continued her studies with a master’s degree in Languages for International Relations at LUMSA University, where she was awarded the prize for Outstanding Student in 2023.
She also completed an internship at the Italian Ministry of the Interior within the Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration. Subsequently, she received the University Talent Award from the Italy-USA Foundation, being recognized as one of the top 1,000 recent graduates in international relations in Italy. This recognition earned her a full scholarship for the Master’s in Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy.
Currently, she is a member of the World Food Forum Italy Chapter and serves as Liaison Officer for the upcoming 58th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank. Finally, she works as a Proofreader for Mondo Internazionale Post.
