Giorgia Cadei

Giorgia Cadei is a graduating student in International Investigation, Crime and Security at the University of International Studies of Rome UNINT. Throughout her academic career, she has completed several professional experiences, such as an internship at the Mexican Embassy in Italy and the publication of academic contributions in journals focusing on international affairs, including KOSMOS-Discover Global Affairs.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Catholic University of Sacred Heart; her thesis, focused on the Sèvres Syndrome, examined the historical, political and cultural dynamics that contributed to shaping Turkey’s ontological insecurity.

Her main research interests include international security, geopolitics, defense dynamics and the analysis of regional contexts.

Within Mondo Internazionale, Giorgia serves as a Senior Researcher in the Country Profile team, with a specific focus on the Defense and Security section.
