Giulia Casot
Born in Feltre in 1997, Giulia Casot soon develops a curiosity for the unknown beyond the borders of her mountainous birthplace, left in 2014 to spend a first experience abroad.
Landed in China, with unusual customs and traditions, she is even more motivated to understand the mechanisms lying beneath the relations connecting different communities worldwide as well as their outcomes at the international scope.
To provide herself with the proper tools to comprehend the basics of such relations, she graduates in Law at the University of Trento, appreciated for its comparative approach in European and Transnational studies. Then, she attends the Master in Diplomacy of ISPI and the Master in Leadership in International Relations and Made in Italy of Fondazione Italia USA.
Her internship at the Milan Chamber of Arbitration brought her closer to law. The experience was helpful in later joining the “Political Coordination, Strategic Management, and Inter Institutional Relations” team at the European Commission Directorate General in charge of urban and territorial cohesion policies.
In the meantime, she continues to have a deep interest in analyzing and understanding the socio-political and cultural links that occur over time in different areas of the world.
To give more concreteness to this passion, she joins Mondo Internazionale in August 2024, where she covers the role of Junior Researcher in the Culture&Society area of MI G.E.O.
