Ilaria Catalano

Ilaria Catalano holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Bologna, where she completed a thesis on the impact of international sanctions within the context of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in International Affairs and Governance at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland. Her academic background, combined with a passion for data-driven analysis, has led her to explore the interconnections between global markets, trade policies, and geopolitical stability.

Within Mondo Internazionale G.E.O., she serves as a Junior Researcher in the Economic Area. This role allows her to apply her analytical skills and the international perspective developed throughout her studies, contributing to the in-depth research of topics within this field. Her goal is to provide insightful perspectives on how economic variables shape the balance of global power.
