Jaohara Hatabi

Jaohara Hatabi is an undergraduate student in International Studies at the University of Trento, with a thesis in Quantitative Methods on the use of game theory for the development of counter- terrorism policies.

During her university career, her strong interest and passion for international relations and geopolitics led her to attend numerous extracurricular activities, such as: a NATO simulation organized by the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), several Model United Nations brought forward by student associations in the Netherlands and the United States, both as a delegate and as Chair of the UN Women commission, and a simulation of the Italian Parliament with Associazione Diplomatici, during which she was awarded an honorable mention.

In addition, she had the chance to deepen her knowledge of the political and economic dynamics of the European Union with two Winter Schools organized by the University of Tübingen and the University of Innsbruck, during which she had the honor of interviewing Martin Selmayr, former Secretary General of the European Commission during the presidency of Jean-Claude Juncker.

A deep passion for research led her to join the Politics division of G.E.O. as a Junior Researcher
