Lara Schirru

Lara Schirru was born in Cagliari in 2003 and is currently pursuing a degree in Diplomatic and International Sciences at the University of Bologna. She has a strong interest in the protection of human rights and international security, fields she aims to explore further in a future master’s program. As part of her academic journey, she participated in the Overseas program, which allowed her to study at Monash University in Melbourne. This experience enabled her to improve her English language skills and gain new perspectives on international law and economics. Beyond her academic work, she completed a curricular internship at the Peace Center in Forlì and collaborated with the student association HIKMA as a member of the editorial team. Since May 2025, she has been serving as a Junior Researcher at G.E.O., in the Defense & Security section.
