Lorena Domizio

Lorena Domizio graduated in Political Science and International Relations with a focus on Japan from the University of Naples "L'Orientale," with a thesis in Public Finance titled "The Gender Equality Plan in Italian Universities."

She received the University Talent Award from the Italy-USA Foundation, ranking among the top 1,000 recent graduates in Italy, and successfully completed a Master’s degree in Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy.

Concurrently with her Master’s, she continued her academic path, graduating with honors and earning a master degree in Law, Economics, and International Relations. Her thesis in Financial and Credit Markets was titled "Financial Speculation in the Commodities Market."

She has also completed a university course in Business Administration, featuring a project work on ETF (Exchange Traded Fund). Her strong passion for economics led her to advisory roles at Generali Italia and Compass Banca.

Furthermore, she collaborated with the Institute for Analysis of International Relations (IARI), where she served as an economic geopolitics analyst.

Her desire to know, understand, and report on global scenarios through an economic and international lens is the driving motivation behind her decision to join the Mondo Internazionale family as a Senior Researcher in the Economics Area.
