Lorenzo Capacci

Lorenzo Capacci is Junior Researcher in the Politics section of Mondo Internazionale G.E.O. and a Board Member and co-founder of MSOI Bologna. He is currently enrolled in a master’s degree in international and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Bologna, with the curriculum Transnational Challenges and Global Governance. He graduated in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation at the University of Bologna, where he specialized in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He has attended two study programs abroad, the first one in 2023 at the University of Granada and the second one in 2025 at the University of São Paulo. He was also awarded the America Giovani prize for university talent by the Italy-USA
Foundation in 2024. His current research interests include the political landscape of South American countries, the evolution of regional organizations of this continent, and trade agreements between Latin America and the European Union.
