Luana Costanzo

Since adolescence, Luana has cultivated a strong interest in international relations, with particular attention to their intersection with legal systems and the protection of human rights. Currently a student of Public International Law at the University of Strasbourg, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Languages and Cultures (Economic-Legal track) from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, which included a study semester at the University of Cologne.

She later pursued a Master’s degree in International Political Studies at Roma Tre University, during which she carried out her thesis research at Sciences Po Strasbourg and completed an internship at the Europe Direct Centre.

Her Master’s thesis analyzed the notion of vulnerability in the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, with a particular focus on the protection and treatment of detainees suffering from mental illness, a subject that reflects her commitment to justice, fundamental rights, and European policies. She is fluent in English, French, and German.

Since September 2025, Luana has served as Director of External Affairs and International Activities at Mondo Internazionale APS.
