Luca Baldazzi

Luca Baldazzi, born in 1998, is originally from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. In 2024, he earned his Bachelor's degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Bologna, where he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field, specializing in International Politics and Security.

During his studies, he had the opportunity to collaborate with CeSIPE – the Interdepartmental Center Punto Europa at the University of Bologna – where he deepened and strengthened his expertise in European Studies.

He is particularly passionate about topics related to Russia and the Asian region, with a specific interest in these countries’ international relations and their spheres of influence in the region. In parallel, he is studying the Russian language, which allows him to better understand the culture and social dynamics of such a vast and diverse population.

Through participation in summer schools, workshops, and seminars, Luca has broadened his knowledge of the history, institutions, and cooperation mechanisms of the European Union, as well as the EU’s international relations with major global players.

Luca has a strong interest in international relations, Russian and Asian foreign policy, and the territorial disputes that shape today’s geopolitical balance.
