Martina Alessandrelli

Passionate about languages, cultures and international affairs, she has built her career by combining her linguistic expertise with her interest in geopolitics and international cooperation. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Western and Eastern Foreign Languages and Cultures and her first Erasmus placement in Portugal, she continued her studies with the Joint Master’s Degree in European Languages, Cultures and Societies (specialising in Languages for Communication and International Cooperation), an international programme that enabled her to live and study in Italy, Finland and Spain.

The experiences she gained in various cultural contexts led her to explore the world of international relations and political science in greater depth through a Level II Master’s in Politics and International Relations. She currently works in project management, with a particular focus on environmental policy and international cooperation. She has also worked as a translator for the Asian Film Festival, putting her linguistic skills to good use in the cultural and audiovisual sectors.

Convinced of the value of languages as a tool for dialogue between cultures, she enjoys combining translation, geopolitical analysis and her interest in international affairs. Among her greatest passions is travel, which she sees as an opportunity for personal growth and discovery.

At Mondo Internazionale, she works as a Copy Editor and Translator.
