Martina Barone

Born in 2002 and originally from Salento, Martina Barone is a Master's candidate in International Relations and Supranational Institutions at Sapienza University of Rome, after earning a Bachelor's degree cum laude in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Salento.

With a background rooted in volunteering, commitment to the 2030 Agenda, and youth activism, she maintains a constant focus on the protection of human rights. Her editorial interest centers on the most fragile areas of the geopolitical landscape, aiming to give space to contexts often marginalized by public debate.

Her passion for travel and participation in various cultural exchanges have fueled her natural inclination for multicultural environments, consolidating her excellent command of English and French, which serve as key tools for her research. At the same time, she has enriched her profile by developing strong organizational and interpersonal skills as an event and festival hostess, and by gaining direct experience in public administration through institutional roles and local internships.

In her free time, she enjoys theater acting, singing, and playing the piano, as well as dedicating herself to sports and reading.

At Mondo Internazionale Post, Martina serves as Staff Writer for the Framing the World thematic area.
