Martina Cintioli

Martina Cintioli, born in 1998, has a bachelor's degree in Linguistics Mediation and a master’s degree in Modern Languages for International communication and cooperation from the University of Macerata, where she studied Spanish, English and French.

Shen then embarked on a specialisation course as an audiovisual translation, a field she is deeply passionate about. She focused mainly on subtitling, audio description and dubbing, taking an interest in the accessibility of audiovisual content, as demonstrated by her master’s thesis on the audio description of a Spanish TV series.

During an internship at publishing house, she had the opportunity to observe the proofreading process, deepening her knowledge of editorial methods and practices. She currently work as a proofreader for Mondo Internazionale and continues to pursue her career in the audiovisual translation sector.
