Martina Marino

Born in 2000 and originally from Turin, Martina has turned her passion for languages into a professional path that combines creativity and precision. After attending a linguistic high school, she earned a degree in Linguistic Mediation and later a Master’s in Audiovisual Translation from the University of Turin, specializing in subtitling, adaptation, and accessibility. She has collaborated with festivals such as the Torino Film Festival, Job Film Days, ShortOut, and CortoCircuito, translating and adapting award-winning short films and documentaries.These experiences have allowed her to sharpen her eye for cultural nuances while building solid technical skills in the use of translation tools and subtitling software. 

At the same time, she has worked in the hospitality sector, developing organizational and communication abilities that shape her flexible, quality-oriented approach. Convinced that knowledge should be accessible to everyone, she also contributes as a volunteer translator for international projects with TED Talks and Translators Without Borders. 

At Mondo Internazionale, she serves as Proofreader and Translator, applying linguistic accuracy and intercultural sensitivity to ensure stylistic coherence and quality across the association’s publications.
