Ramona Orefice
Ramona Orefice was born in Caltagirone (CT) in 2000. She graduated in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation in 2024 and is currently enrolled in the Master’s Degree in “Global Politics and Euro-Mediterranean Relations” at the University of Catania. She is currently undertaking an Erasmus mobility period at Metropolitní Univerzita Praha in the Czech Republic, where she is further strengthening her academic background within an international environment. She has a strong interest in international politics and European affairs, which she has also explored through her participation in institutional events such as the European Youth Event.
Her academic path is complemented by significant practical experience in the editorial and translation fields. During high school, she collaborated with the online editorial team of SecusiOnline (in cooperation with the Unione Cattolica Stampa Italiana), contributing to writing and content editing; she later joined the university editorial project #VociUnict. She has also carried out several years of volunteer work as a translator and subtitler for the platform Rakuten Viki, developing strong precision, cultural adaptation skills, and the ability to meet deadlines within virtual teams.
Her willingness to challenge herself has led her to take on the role of copy editor at Mondo Internazionale Post, contributing in a structured manner to maintaining the editorial team’s quality standards.
