Shirley Perniciaro

Shirley Perniciaro holds a degree in History, Politics and International Relations from the University of Catania and is currently completing her Master's degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences, with a specialization in International Security, at the University of Bologna.

Passionate about culture in all its forms and about the Asian world, particularly Southeast Asia, she studies how soft power can be used as a strategic tool by middle powers to increase their influence and strengthen their position in international relations within the contemporary system.

She has had several experiences abroad in France, Germany and Bosnia, working with major institutions and European organizations. She has developed administrative, writing and project management skills, contributing to the drafting of European projects (including Erasmus+ and CERV) and to the organization of cultural exchange.

At Mondo Internazionale APS, Shirley serves as Administration Officer.
