Silvia Faletto

Having completed a bachelor’s degree in linguistic mediation and two masters in translation (as well as various specialised courses), Silvia Faletto is currently concluding her master’s degree in journalism and environmental communication at the University of Parma. Her multidisciplinary background combines solid linguistic skills with a strong sensitivity to cultural and environmental issues, as well as a strong interest for social analysis and mechanisms governing communication in the current Era.

Always seeking a balance between adapting to the context and ensuring textual accuracy, she works as a translator to and from English and Spanish, complementing her academic and linguistic work with teaching and promoting environmental issues. Based on interest and passion, her approach to the text emphasises Style, semantic coherence and attention to detail, aiming to make even the most complex texts clear, fluid and accessible to a varied international audience.

To consolidate her expertise and put her versatility into practice, she joined the editorial team at MiPost as a Copy Editor, offering her dedication, curiosity and open-mindedness.
