Silvia Toro

Silvia Toro, born in 1998, has always lived in the province of Monza and has always been passionate about writing and stories. In 2018, she began her university career as an interpreting and translation student, where she fell in love with Spanish, as well as strengthening her knowledge of English, and the faithful transposition of cultural concepts and elements from one language to another. She developed an intense passion for the humanities, particularly anthropology and psychology, which laid the foundation for her interest in social and human issues.

Subsequently, her fascination with culture in the anthropological sense and the desire to create communication and connections between various countries led her to specialize in multimedia localization, launching her career as a translator and localizer.

This introduced her to the topics of marketing, copywriting, and functional writing. Meanwhile, she decided to explore editorial translation, specializing in journalistic translation. A lover of new things and writing, she has been working at Mondo Internazionale Post since 2025 as a proofreader.
