Sofia Belluzzi

Sofia Belluzzi began her academic journey studying modern languages in high school, specializing in English, French and German. Driven by the ambition of becoming a conference interpreter for European institutions, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Bologna, further strengthening her international profile through academic experiences at various German universities. 

Her undergraduate thesis on the role of interpreters in international diplomacy sparked her profound interest in the inseparable link between language and power. 

This insight led her to the study of global dynamics, enrolling in a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs at the same university. Drawn to the complexities of Geopolitics and International Security, she is currently a Junior Researcher for Mondo Internazionale G.E.O., contributing to the Defense & Security area.
