Sophia Morganti

Sophia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Mediation and a Master’s degree in European Studies. In 2022, she completed her undergraduate studies with a thesis on Japanese war crimes during the Second World War, analyzing the historical and legal implications of international accountability. In 2024, she obtained her Master’s degree with a research project on the evolution of Eurosceptic forces within European parliaments and their impact on the European integration process.

Throughout her academic path, she combined her studies with international and institutional experiences. She completed an internship at the Italian Embassy in Nairobi, gaining first-hand exposure to diplomatic activities and international cooperation, and collaborated with CIRCAP (Centre for the Study of Political Change) at the University of Siena, where she worked on political research and analytical methodologies.

Her time abroad and experience in multicultural environments further strengthened her interest in European affairs and international relations. She is currently working for the Office of the General Commissioner for Expo 2025 Osaka at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

She is also currently pursuing a Master’s in European Project Management and EU Funding, with a focus on project design, management, and the implementation of EU-funded programs.

Since June 2026, she has served as External Relations and International Activities Officer at Mondo Internazionale APS.
