Steven Paul Atwood
Steven (Paul) Atwood is a recent MA graduate in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, with a specialization in transnational security. There, he focused on his passion for environmental and energy security. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations and Global Affairs from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan.
In Washington, he completed a traineeship for the European Delegation to the United States of America in the section responsible for the environment, energy, sustainability and transport portfolios. He also conducted a research project for the U.S. Department of State on how the United States could contribute to Tunisia's energy transition following the ELMED interconnection between Italy and Tunisia.
He is bilingual in English and Italian, thanks to his transatlantic upbringing. He is also proficient in French and Spanish.
Within Mondo Internazionale, he is a Junior Researcher for the Environment team in the G.E.O. division.
