Valentina Cannito

Valentina Cannito was born in Venice.

She currently resides in Emilia-Romagna, where she is attending the first year of a Master's degree programme in "International and Diplomatic Sciences - Politics and International Security" at the University of Bologna, with a campus in Forlì.

In 2022, she graduated in “Political Science and International Relations” at the University of Padua. During the three-year course, she worked at a multinational company, gaining an important first approach to the world of work.

Before starting her Master's degree, she won a scholarship for a Master's degree in “Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy” with Fondazione Italia USA, where she had the opportunity to write the final project work in collaboration with the ICE Agency. The same foundation awarded her the 'Young America' prize at the Chamber of Deputies.

Valentina is deeply interested in diplomacy, global security, terrorism and all aspects of international relations. In addition, she has a great passion for travel. Since her high school years, she has had the opportunity to visit several countries, including Australia and China through cultural exchange programmes, and the United States, where she participated in a United Nations simulation at UN Headquarters.
