Framing the World

"Where there is an open mind, there will always be a land of discovery," said Charles F. Kettering, inventor of the 20th century.

Interpretation, from the Latin interpretatio-ionis, is the indispensable act of discovering and explaining what is obscure or controversial. To interpret in English, 解读 (jiedu) in Chinese, interpreter in French, ตีความ (tikwham) in Thai, interpretar in Spanish, kutafsiri in Swahili, व्याख्या (vyaakhya) in Hindi, فسر (fsr) in Arabic, ინტერპრეტაცია (interpretatsia) in Georgian, интерпретировать (interpretirovat) in Russian and 解 釈 (kaishaku) in Japanese is the essential gesture to be performed in order to understand what is happening in our world.

Through the preparation of short reports, the objective becomes that of providing keys to understanding that can allow the reader a more mature and, perhaps, more curious view about the world around us.Extremely passionate and interested in different geographical areas (and undoubtedly other cultures) Mondo Internazionale deals with bringing this work of understanding and interpretation to fruition. Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas will be an "experiment" becoming a laboratory for young scholars.

This is because "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in having new eyes."
