Angela Simoncini

Angela Simoncini was born in Terni in 2000 but has lived in Viterbo since childhood. After completing her classical high school education, she moved to Perugia to study Linguistic Mediation. In 2023, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Mediation Sciences with a thesis titled *Moby Dick, the 1920s, and Translation: A Contrastive Analysis of Selected Chapters from Melville’s Work*, comparing the Italian translation by Cesare Pavese (produced in the 1920s) with the 2019 version by Ottavio Fatica. In 2024, she obtained a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting for Business Internationalization—also from the SSML in Perugia—graduating with top marks.

That same year, she joined the board of the *Studenti Traduttori e Interpreti* (Student Translators and Interpreters) association as Treasurer, becoming its President in 2025. She currently divides her time between volunteering—with *Studentitradint* and *Mondo Internazionale*—and working as a translator and interpreter, specializing in English and Spanish. Her goal? To continue building bridges between different worlds and cultures.
