Asia Corsano

Asia has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences, International Relations and Human Rights. The experience with the Erasmus+ project at the Uniwersytet Wrocławski in Wroclaw, Poland, gave her the inspiration for her Bachelor thesis, entitled “Poland in the European Union between nationalism and euroscepticism: the issue of the violation of the principles of the art.2 of the Lisbon Treaty”.

Currently, she is enrolled in the second year of the master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Florence, and has a second Erasmus semester at the Charles University of Prague. Moreover, she is one of the members of the Student Board of the EUniWell project, a European university consortium the University of Florence is part of, and participates in a Model European Union Simulation. Her focus areas include the foreign policy of Eastern Europe, European Security and Intelligence and the international protection of human rights.

In Mondo Internazionale she holds the position of Junior Researcher for the Security & Defense division.
