Cecilia Vasinton

Cecilia is born and raised in Rome, where she graduated in Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Roma Tre. She then moved to Bologna for a Master’s Degree in International Affairs, which she obtained in March 2020. 

During her Bachelor studies she first had the opportunity of attending a semester at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, in the context of the Erasmus Study exchange. During her Master’s she worked as a Trainee in European Project Management in a local NGO that plans and promotes cultural exchanges and volunteer programmes. She then spent 3 months in Prague to research her Master’s dissertation on online disinformation in the EU, while working as a Research Assistant at the Institute of International Relations. After a brief experience in corporate consulting, she is currently doing an internship in Administration and Communication at the International Fund for Agriculture and Development (IFAD) in Rome. 

In her free time, Cecilia loves to read about gender issues, practice yoga and listen to true crime podcasts. She is currently the Event Manager of Mondo Internazionale Academy.
